A world record breaking club crowd of 81,600 and millions of television viewers saw three of Broadcast RF’s specially designed HD camera backs and HD RF systems on show at this years Rugby Union showpiece final at Twickenham.

London Wasps sealed a dream send off for their retiring captain and England legend Lawrence Dallaglio by winning 26-16.  It was Wasps fourth league title in six years.  What a way to retire for the 35 year old former England captain to end a glittering 15 year senior career with Wasps.

Tries by Rees and Lewsey, and some great kicks from Mark van Gisbergen left Leicester going in at half time 23-6 down and Wasps in complete control.

Leicester hit back after the break with a Varndell try before Harry Ellis found a hole in the Wasps strong defence, punishing them for Leicester’s second try of the game.  But Andy Goode the Leicester kicker missed a host of conversions and penalties resulting in a very slow comeback for the Tigers.

The big man Dallaglio was replaced to a standing ovation from the crowd in the 68th minute.  Leicester kept pushing but Wasps managed to keep the Tigers attacks at bay for a famous win at Twickenham.
