Broadcast RF did it! We took on the responsibility of engineering the RF coverage for outdoor events including Marathon, Cycling, Rowing & Sailing, and produced outstanding results.

The Doha Games were acknowledged around the world to be, without doubt, the biggest and best Asian Games ever staged. From the explosive opening ceremony to the very end when the torch was passed to the next hosts Guangzhou, the games were simply beyond every expectation.

To achieve these outstanding results, Broadcast RF engineered a diverse range of microwave and communication systems, using both tried and tested methods and the latest cutting edge technology.

The key components needed to configure these systems were gathered from various sources and some were in house engineered specifically for this event. To compliment these new systems, Broadcast RF obtained European Aviation Safety Approvals (EASA) to install and operate relay equipment and HD/SD downlinks in a variety of helicopters.

This development means Broadcast RF is now fully equipped in all aspects to provide state-of-the-art coverage for any future events.
