Gigawave MRC Diversity Receive Option



The new Gigawave Maximum Ratio Combining Diversity (MRC)
System enhances digital wireless camera signals that are used in demanding RF situations. Unlike our competitors and most diversity receivers, which only select the antenna that offers the best signal
level, this system effectively uses both inputs to improve the overall coverage. For instance, in a particularly difficult RF environment, an already degraded signal can be improved by up to 6dB.

Although signals may arrive at the unit from different parts of a stadium, the software sorts out any delay problems to provide a stable picture. It also combines the useable parts of each signal to produce one complete picture. The system has allowed us to reach situations which may have been previous impossible without the benefits of the MRC Diversity System.
